CelineThe odd thing is, I remember seeing this very flower when I was a kid, out near the cottage ruins east of town.

CelineSo here's what we know already.

CelineWhile I still haven't fully translated the codex, I'm pretty sure this section describes our seed.

CelineIt seems like the type of soil and the amount of watering are most important.

CelineBut there seem to be other extra special conditions as well. Oh, I'm just not sure!

Well let's start with what we do know!

Nobody knows more about this seed than you!

CelineAh, you're right. I'm getting ahead of myself.

CelineFor the type of soil, I tried to mimic the growing conditions where we found it. Rocky, with a good mix of clay.

CelineBut I think the seed could use a good wake-up call of nutrients. Ari, could you add however much plant food you think best?

CelineIt's my own special blend!

Let's add just a pinch and go from there.

The more fertilizer the better!

CelineSensible! This seed has been so patient, we can be patient too!

CelineNow to water it...

CelineThe seed has been dormant so long that I think it'd be hard to overwater it, but the pot has excellent drainage, so we should be okay in either case.

CelineThe book is no help, I can't translate this word here. Ari, could you tell me what you think it says?

CelineAfter the sprout's last growth spurt, I think I'm starting to understand the context of some of the words I couldn't translate in the Codex.

DellCeline says there's a perfectly natural explanation for her sprout growing like that...

HoltNow I know Celine says that the little sprout doesn't grow off of puns, but whenever I'm over, I make sure to whisper a few to it.

NoraI've never seen a plant grow like that before! My daughter's turned into quite the botanist, hasn't she?

CelineAt night I'd dream of mysterious forests and hidden sanctuaries filled with beautiful flowers. White, purple, and brilliant gold.

CelineI'd dream that I had grown them all myself.

CelineSo you can imagine my excitement when Errol let me borrow an ancient book of flora he found in the town's archives.

CelineMy nose was always in one book or another, but poring through the Codex for the first time, something happened...

CelineIt felt meant to be. Like my own adventure was finally beginning.

CelineAnd I'm so happy that it's become... our adventure.

CelineWho would have thought our search to revive a lost flower would come this far?

Speaking of which, how is our flower doing?

CelineWell, aside from remaining a bud, it seems to be doing well.

CelineI've observed that temperature, sunlight, and water levels don't seem to affect it like a normal plant.

CelineWhen I first potted it, I couldn't get it to grow at all.

CelineIn fact, the seed didn't even sprout until the day you came over to help me care for it.

CelineThen it unexpectedly grew again, at my parents' house... when we all laughed together.

CelineIt got me wondering if maybe it grows on... emotion?

CelineI-it's just a theory!

CelineBut... It also got me thinking that I've been meaning to tell you how I feel-

CelineResearching the Codex Mistria gave me direction, but everyone considered it an eccentric hobby at best...

CelineYou were the first person to really take my interest in it seriously.

CelineBringing that seed back from the brink of extinction should have been impossible...

It was our growing feelings for each other that did it!
